This booth had some great stuff- but a lot of it looked reproduction:

I did love the pair of ceramic dogs though- I just don't need another pair of ceramic ANYTHING!

Jadeite collection:

These industrial bins would look great in a bookshelf or in a kitchen as storage:

A lovely mirror made from old tin ceilings and a bunch of old glass medical cabinets

Grouping of old silverware- these were lovely and having a mismatched set would be so fabulous paired with some sleek, simple china:

This big pig painting would look great above a sofa in a country house;

I adored this twin headboard's unique design, as well as this gorgeous lantern with colver shaped ring accent:

But the best part of the weekend was getting to meet (and imbibe) with Seleta Howard from Simply Seleta and her husband! What a gorgeous, talented, lovely woman (and am so jealous she got to spend the weekend at Eddie Ross' country home)! Yet another reason why blogging has enriched my life so much!

I've heard this same news from everyone-- but, these are still some good finds! Thanks.
I was at Brimfield as well (my 1st time) and I was surprised at how small it was. true, it was on Saturday and there was rain but I did think it would be bigger based on what I had heard and read about. I think July is the always the least attended of the 3 dates though. I'll be back in September as well and I hope to see more quality booths. But it was still a great time!
Also, I did a little blog post on my trip and it looks like we have the same taste in those metal baskets! Weren't those great??

Bummer that it wasn't a great show but ooooooohhhhh, I'd be all up in that jadeite collection!
umm I would have most likely chained myself to that headboard! Lovely!!
Some pretty photos but sorry it was a long haul out there for not much excitement, thought I feel better now that I missed it.
Looks like you had a good time even though it was not as good. I'm hoping to get there in September as well, so hopefully it will be better that time around :)
So fun you got to meet Seleta- she is fabulous!

Love that jadeite and want some for my china cabinet!
I love that headboard and the jadeite collection. I'm pretty sure I would have hauled the headboard back to North Carolina on my cars roof and stored it for my future child's room.
Did you pick anything up for yourself or clients?
Erin I LOVE your dress! I know this post has nothing to do with fashion, but I have a friend looking for black bridesmaid dresses and that dress looks perfect! Where did you find it? Thanks! =)
Thanks Zenadia- it's new from Club Monaco- fitted shirt dress with very flouncy skirt (I added the belt). They have them in a few colors! Makes you feel very classic and Audrey hepburn-ish!
Hi! My twin sis introduced me to your blog. We went to the show as well. It was my second trip to a July show and I agree, it wasn't as great as the last one I attended. However, I did purchase a lovely armchair from the first booth you pictured in your post!
Why oh why didn't I see those medical cabinets? They'd be perfect for quilts and blankets in a guest room!
Hope to bump into you at the September show!
This was my first time at Brimfield as well and my Mom said it wasn't as good as usual. Still-had a great time! My sister bought an old french chair from that first booth you featured. It's amazing! The couple find old pieces and restore and reupholster them all themselves. While she was buying her chair, I was admiring those ceramic dogs and almost purchased them! I thought to myself, "Erin would approve of these I think..." :) I didn't buy the dogs (and really regret it) but i did find an amazing vintage trophy to hold flowers in my living room! Hope to see you all there in Spetember!
Erin, I'm thrilled we met! And I had no idea you went to Brimfield that weekend, wow.
Next time our town!
xoxo

OK, now I'm going to have to stop shopping at Club Monaco. I read the comment about where you got your dress, checked out the website--love it! Can't believe I haven't been in there before. More upscale than J Crew, with fabulous accessories!
