Fashion Friday: The Bags and Bedrooms of Meichi Peng

Boston designer Meichi Peng is becoming a bit of a mogul. While busy with her very successful design firm, Meichi Peng Design Studio, she's added handbag designer and boutique owner to her resume. Located in the SoWa area of the South End, her shop offers up not only her GORGEOUSLY constructed handbags and leather goods but also an eclectic mix of furniture, art, antiques, accessories, art and jewelry from the far off lands of France, Indonesia and China.

I really cannot get enough of the multi-zipper bag. It's so unique and stunning in it's simplicity. The birght little clutches with their bold stiching are pretty darn sweet too.

Messenger bags are BIG for fall, and this leather one looks like it's so well made it would not only last you a lifetime, but would get better with time as well.

Her clever key chain wristlet allows you to turn your car keys into jewelry of sorts- remember what I said about key jewelry? :) Plus it's nice to keep you hands free while juggling your Starbucks cups.

Her interiors reflect the same linear, carefully sleek aesthetic with a mix of textures and influences:

Yes please.

Just when I think I'm so, SO very done with orange interiors, Meichi Peng comes along and makes it look totally fresh and cool.

I love the dining photo - with the white armchairs. That's the look I am going for in my own home!
