What I'm Loving: Vintage Seaside Accessories

These framed vintage bathing suits from Battersea would look amazing in a hallway or above a sofa in a beach home. I am simply obsessed.
While you are there why not pick up some vintage industrial lights to go in said beach house? :)

Fabled Pillows

Otomi fabrics are still hot, hot, hot- and I'm loving these "Forest Fables" throw pillows made from the fabric by Empress of the Eye in Texas! Contact them for pricing!

Dress It Up

Real Simple had a great little article about updating old furniture and I thought I'd share it and expand on it a little. Not only is replacing the hardware on an old piece helpful, don't forget you can also replace the hardware on a NEW piece of furniture to make it seem less "chain store" and more you. It won't cost you much and will take your item from "seen on page 56 of the catalog" to "where did you find this cool thing?".

Anthropologie has the most fun, stylish selection of hardware out there, and it's easy to access! Their items look like jewelry for your furniture (and check out their doorknobs to- I wish I could use them everywhere in my own home!) And they have even created this genius new page on their site where you can virtually TRY on the hardware on various pieces of furniture!

House of Antique Hardware offers a great selection of these drop pulls which I simply adore.

Te Ma Hardware offers colorful hardware perfect for a beachy feel or a kid's room:

So wether you are refinishing a Craiglist find or simply wanting to add some flair to your new Pottery Barn purchase, just look around for some "furniture jewelry"

Details, Details...

I'm gonna design dork-out here and share my complete adoration of Kravet's new window hardware line. How could you be THAT psyched about a beaded curtain ring (ugggghhh, it's so PRETTY!), you ask? I don't know, but maybe that's just confirmation that I'm working int he right industry!

From Pillows to Paper: Whitney English

I was online looking for some cute organizational supplies since I am sitting here in a mess of papers, samples, paint chips and magazine clippings feeling INCREDIBLY overwhelmed. I came upon these Whitney English folders and thought "Ah ha! If I had file folders this cute I might actually FILE things just so I could open the drawer to look at them!"

Then I went through her invitation line, since I'm always looking for the latest and greatest paper goods to spend my hard earned money on! These are so fabulous and so strongly inspired by interiors that i had to post them, along with images they remind me of!

Clearly this one is a homage to Imperial Trellis (image from Candian House & Home)

This one reminds me of Lee Jofa/ Mulberry Home's Swash Stripe fabric:

This one reminds me of those fabulous Iomoi lucite ottoman trays!

This one could be an invite to the book party for Carolyne Roehme's "A Passion for Blue & White"

This one looks a bit David Hicks, and a bit like Jonathan Adler's Pat Nixon rug/candle.

This one reminded me of Ashley Whittaker's amazing Rose Cummings paper in her hallway:

I am LOVING this suzani invite- so fantastic!
