Scampo is the newest restaurant to open at the stunningly
gorgeous Liberty Hotel in Beacon Hill. The brain child of chef extraordinaire Lydia Shire, it's a casual-luxe italian joint decked out in a bevy of delicious design features. The kitchen is wide open to the dining area, providing a great view of your meal being prepared (and no chance of anyone spitting in it!). The bar is lit by fabulous silver orb fixtures above a bright red counter top. The juxtaposition of original jail features against luxurious new furnishings continues from the rest of the hotel- most successfully in the photo below with the crystal chandelier. We are going on Friday for dinner, and I can't help but feel the the food will simply be a side note to the decor!

Um, yes please. There's something about exposed brick that gets to me. In a good way, of course. Love the kitchen except for the inexplicable oversized christmas ornaments. Little weird.
Looks awesome! Some one recommended I have my bachelorette party dinner here and then go to Alibi. Any thoughts?
Hi,
I've been reading your blog-such fun! Your place is gorgeous, thanks for sharing the photos.
Love the Tom Dixon copper shade pendants! They are on my wish list.
