Lock Me Up and Throw Away the Key...

Scampo is the newest restaurant to open at the stunningly gorgeous Liberty Hotel in Beacon Hill. The brain child of chef extraordinaire Lydia Shire, it's a casual-luxe italian joint decked out in a bevy of delicious design features. The kitchen is wide open to the dining area, providing a great view of your meal being prepared (and no chance of anyone spitting in it!). The bar is lit by fabulous silver orb fixtures above a bright red counter top. The juxtaposition of original jail features against luxurious new furnishings continues from the rest of the hotel- most successfully in the photo below with the crystal chandelier. We are going on Friday for dinner, and I can't help but feel the the food will simply be a side note to the decor!

Um, yes please. There's something about exposed brick that gets to me. In a good way, of course. Love the kitchen except for the inexplicable oversized christmas ornaments. Little weird.

Looks awesome! Some one recommended I have my bachelorette party dinner here and then go to Alibi. Any thoughts?

Love the Tom Dixon copper shade pendants! They are on my wish list.
