Love your picks! I am not a designer, nor is my blog about design, but one day...maybe! My husband and I moved to Austria in February and we have an old flat with all the things you described...moldings, high ceilings, herringbone wood floors, lots of great windows....but no cash to decorate...it kills me. Landlords prob. won't like me painting the floors either, but wouldn't a herringbone pattern look wondey! ha. These Austrians are strict about their stuff! ok, enough babbling...love your blog.
