The building:
The kitchen, featuring a very unique raw edge stone backsplash.
Dining area combining the detail of a traditionally styled chandelier with modern wall treatment and dining furniture.
Living area and stairs.
Master bedroom, complete with my new obsession, black walls (which look open and not imposing when paired ith the huge windows).
Master bathrrom complete with drool-worthy bubble chandelier.
The boys room (starring the cutest little Schnauzer! Does he come with the penthouse?)
The patio off the boys room featuring a cool window graphic for privacy.
An 8 track themed bathroom!
The HUGE terrace (I've seen it in person and it is HUUUUUUGE) makes any city dweller sigh in awe- I can easily imagine a lovely early fall evening evening with friends and lots of wine out there!
On the main floor of the building world renowned chef Barbara Lynch has opened two incredible spaces well worth checking out. Sportello is a modern, high-style "diner" featuring amazing dishes like a grown up version of grilled cheese and tomato soup (I've had it, amazing). There's a little market for gourmet goodies and a dessert counter as well!
Below street level is Barbara's speakeasy style bar, aptly named Drink. I fell madly in love for this bar when I went not only for the design (not a bottle in sight, all kept below the amazing bar), but also because the bartenders whip up unique concotions based on what flavors and liquors you tell them you like. I have no idea what i had, but it was toe-curlingly delicious. Did I mention they serve the drinks in vintage glassware? Yeah, that'll make anything taste even better in my opinion!
(P.S. I die over the logo. DIE.)

Great post! My office is a block or 2 down from this...FP is really becoming a great area. Love the chandelier in the bathroom and the terrace (swoon).
PS: I DIE over Drink too... Amazing drinks and atmosphere.
wow, this is a stunner. my favorite parts were all the writing on the stairs and dining room wall and those kids rooms, so creatively different, refreshing!
I will have to tell Tom that FP (I had never heard it called that) is the new trendy place. Of course, he will swear that he knew it was up and coming when he lived there!
They've been talking about FP as "up and coming" for the last 5 years at least. I just wonder when and if it ever will be. I think the area needs more shops and stores that support the daily needs of the residents. Hopefully that will happen !!

I was in this unit yesterday and it is FAAABULOUS! Such incredibly unique concepts & design. I work in the same neighborhood as FP3 and have really enjoyed watching this development progress and evolve into such an amazing building. Great post!
